Design and operation of SMARTFORM
The device we offer forms a transition between traditional seating furniture (dining chair, operating chair, office chair, armchair) and special anti-decubitus beds and mattresses used in clinical and home patient care.
Smartform has a wealth of unique features that are all for the convenience and well-being of the user:
ACTIVE SEAT
One of the biggest achievements of Smartform is the seat that can be controlled with a telephone application:
⦁ the pressure rods placed in the mattress can be moved continuously or intermittently
⦁ the user is thus always in contact with the mattress in different areas
⦁ the movement is unobtrusive so it does not interfere with rest or work
⦁ the seat can be loaded up to 130 kg body weight
HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
In addition to moving the mattress, the pressure bars for adjusting the height are also controlled by a computer:
⦁ Seat that can be raised or lowered in the range of 8-10 cm
⦁ height equivalent to standard beds can be adjusted, making it easier for the user to relocate
⦁ the soles are adequately supported at all heights to avoid numbness caused by “hanging legs” or circulatory problems around the thighs
HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE FOOTRESTS
Because the lower leg lengths show a large difference between female and male users, we also considered the customizability of the footrests important.

TILTABLE BACKREST
This function has become especially important for us when designing furniture, as the proper support of the back section is key not only for the abutments, but also for other joint and disc injuries.
⦁ By adjusting the backrest 90-110 degrees, you can achieve the optimal sitting position
⦁ Continuous wavy movement is ensured even during meals or sitting, so other areas are always under load
⦁ the high backrest also provides support for the head
⦁ the backrest is capable of tilting 120-150 degrees, so a well-known, half-lying body position is created at the deck chairs, which is ideal for rest, relaxation, but even for work
