The severity of the disability can be interpreted on a very wide scale, from a mild change in working capacity of 40-50% to a severe disability of 50-70% or above, requiring increased care and assistance, possibly covering four limbs.

The tool we offer is primarily intended to help people with severe mobility impairments, but the help expected in the lives of their peers with minor injuries is not negligible either.

It is typical that people with reduced mobility with a lower degree of ability to work are also employed in the open labor market, while people with more severe mobility impairments are employed exclusively in a specialized employment system, especially those with limited capacity.

It can be observed that people with reduced mobility living in disadvantaged micro-regions are in an even more difficult situation, their access to work in wheelchairs is unresolved, so employers can use them, and they show little intention to change these conditions.

Most workplaces would need to be redesigned to provide barrier-free work for people with reduced mobility working there. The associated costs are rejected by most employers, who prefer to go for less resistance and choose an easily accessible yet well-trained workforce. However, there are fewer and fewer of them in a smaller settlement, although it is conceivable that wheelchair users have the same or even higher qualifications, so they would also be suitable for the job. That is why it is important for both society and companies to set an example in this area and to take steps towards the employment of people with reduced mobility.

The offer of adult training and retraining is extremely deficient, especially for people with more severe mobility impairments.

Moreover, people with reduced mobility are rightly concerned about the loss of disability benefits that are not very high, yet provide a secure income, as they may even be re-qualified when taking up employment.

The problems listed above all have a strong impact on the motivation of the injured in question, which can even affect their health status.

Although unfortunately we cannot offer a solution to all these problems, we hope that our special furniture can help to create a more integrated life, as a result of which users will take on new challenges more motivated and hopeful.
